Ustaz Ridhwan’s goal as a millennial Singaporean is to cultivate an open space for positive engagements. He believes that people should be empowered through mutual trust and respect. Ustaz Ridhwan works closely with other asatizah in producing meaningful content online. He also regularly writes on issues related to Islamic civilisation and political philosophy, religious diversity and polarisation, Muslims in the digital age and modern Muslim lifestyle. Professionally, Ustaz Ridhwan had spent 7 years at the Office of the Mufti, MUIS (2011-2017), before leading the team that developed and launched MuslimSG, a digital platform by MUIS. Ustaz Ridhwan received his early educations at Madrasah Al-Irsyad and Madrasah Wak Tanjong. He pursued his tertiary education at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and graduated with honours in Political Science. He then furthered his postgraduate studies at the International Islamic University Malaysia and obtained a Masters in Islamic Political Thought.
