Ustaz Zubair Mohd Redza
Ustaz Zubair is an alumni of Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah and graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2019, specializing in Arabic Language and Literature and minoring in Quran and Sunnah Studies. Upon graduation, he served in the mosque sector for 4.5 years. He started at Kampung Siglap Mosque for 2 years, first as a Mosque Religious Officer (Family Development) and then the Assistant Head of Dakwah and Community Outreach. He then served as the Head of Dakwah and Islamic Learning at Al-Mukminin Mosque for 2.5 years. Currently, he is an educator at Madrasah Alsagoff Al-Arabiah, teaching Arabic Language and Religious subjects, such as Quran and Tafsir. He also oversees the Arabic Debate and Public Speaking initiatives there. An interest of Ustaz Zubair is research and keeping abreast to contemporary issues, especially those which concern religion. He was involved in the inaugural Fatwa Lab Research Project coordinated by The Office of Mufti, and was part of the team which researched on Cultivated Meat, assessing the Maslahah and Mafsadah related to it.
